Sarah’s Short List.
It’s one of the most important shopping lists you’ll ever create - The Baby Registry. For first time moms, it’s all about finding your real deal must-haves out of an isle of way too many options. The best place to start is to ask other moms, and then simply add a few stylish things that borrow from your personal style.
Sarah works for Lilly Pulizter and has an eye for color & detail (clearly), and we love her bedding choice! Also on her short list – one of our favorite items… the MamaRoo bouncer.
1. Pottery Barn Larkin 4in1 Crib
We wanted something that would grow with the baby – this crib has the lines and look that made both me AND the hubs happy. It will convert from a crib to a toddler bed and then to a twin bed. As my architect hubby says its well built and feels sturdy unlike some of the other cheaper cribs we were looking into.
2. Shell Basics Crib Bedding
The color scheme for the nursery was my main focus. I wanted accents of coral for the bedding but didn’t want something super ‘froo froo and girly’ AND I was trying to stay away from flowers. Serena and Lily had exactly what I was looking for with their shell basics bedding collection except for the bumper and crib skirt I got the punch color instead of shell. Looooveeeee it!!!
3. 4Mom’s Infant Tub
This tub allows clean water to flow in and dirty water to flow right on out. YES PLEASE!
4. 4Mom’s Classic Mamaroo
From all my mommy friends they say the Mamaroo is a life saver and MUST have. It bounces up and down and sways from side to side, just like parents do when comforting their babies.
5. Pottery Barn New Classic Mom Diaper Bag
This is suitable for mom or dad to carry and looks chic all day long for a girl OR boy babe. I was very into buying navy or grey key items regardless of having a girl because it will work with various outfits during various seasons and still look fab.
6. Serena and Lilly Custom Hayes Glider for Nursery
We wanted a chair that had great reviews about being uber comfy AND fit hubby. Serena and Lily was the winner AND we could custom the piping color. I was on the hunt for a white glider with aqua piping. Serena nailed it!
