Even though Tara and I have only met twice, I feel like I’ve known her forever. You know how it goes… a friend goes on and on all about her amazing friend who recently had a baby, and just how wonderful, precious and awesome new mom and baby are. Honestly, it’s easy to see what all the gushing was about… Meet Tara; she is creative, an entrepreneur, has effortless personal style, and yes, she’s mom to sweet baby girl, Charlotte. It was a great afternoon with Tara – not only is she energetic, and beautiful, but her sweet stylish ways radiated throughout her dance studio.

What does a typical day in the life consist of?Our typical day is filled with an early morning wake up, a lot of hide and seek, and of course dancing around the house to a mixture of music from Lady Gaga to Kids Bop. After a nap, we both enjoy chicken nuggets together, then it is off to the dance studio for mommy.
Tell us about “Motion” and the inspiration behind it?I started dancing when I was 4 years old. It’s always been a dream of mine to train myself, not only as a dancer, but as a choreographer. I started working and teaching in high school and just kept freelancing until I was able to open a studio of my own. The name “Motion” was chosen simply because I wanted something simple. Knowing all the various styles of dance, I didn’t want to focus on one specific genre, so “Motion” to me, best represented all styles of performance art.
In 2012, Tangerine Tango was dubbed the color to watch. We expect this color to take center stage come fall, but for right now, we’re loving it’s softer side. Here’s Coral, four ways:
