MODERN PARENT LIVING

Cooper & Kid

Dads Rule.

There’s something pretty sweet about watching dads do their thing. They’re naturals at quality time, and so an epic afternoon with dad requires very little planning –  it can be playing ball on the lawn or an unexpected weekend adventure. Me, on the other hand, I can easily over plan to encourage as many big moments as possible, and in the end, it’s always one big toss up. Truth is, we’re all so busy and so I think a focus on quality time on any given night always wins bigKids really don’t care how they spend their time, as long as you are a part of it.

Last week, on a random night after dinner, Justin pulled out a package we had recently received from Cooper & Kid.

The “Cooper Kit” is a big, quality box of goodness designed with dads & their kids in mind. It offers gadgets, toys, things to build & investigate, facts about the theme, and in this case it was all about How Things Fly. This box truly ruled.

Needless to say, as soon as Justin opened the box, all hands went in to find a variety of cool things to launch, and learn about. There was some serious flying action going on in our backyard – on a Tuesday night.  With very little planning, their evening turned into one epic adventure. Thanks to Cooper & Kid, dad continues to rule.

About Cooper & Kid.

Cooper & Kid, the retail brand that celebrates fatherhood has just launched their e-zine for dads: Catch.  Written by dads for dads,  Catch offers honest and often humorous content contributed by a diverse selection of dads to help all men with children navigate through fatherhood. The e-zine covers topics such as: 1 on 1’s with dads, outdoor skills, cooking and food as a dad, workouts and nutrition, books, movies, TV, music, videos, apps, games, a weekly face-off for all things dad, man and parenting.

Becoming a dad changes a man’s life not only in his perception of self and personal growth, but also how he manages his free-time, career, finances, health, relationships and inner moral compass, says Smaglick. “Dads will explore that metamorphosis of becoming a father with humor and straight-talk honesty, discover dad and non-dad tips on cool things to do, as well as ways to handle new situations and poignant manhood fodder.  Topics and writers will evolve over time, so every time dads return, they will ‘Catch’ something new.” – Cooper & Kid
