DIY {Floral Halo}
True American pride, endless bbqing, and firework loving. Yeah, it’s safe to say we love the Fourth of July.
We partnered with Erica from Bushel and Peck, for a fun way to get the littles involved for this Fourth of July. A beautiful floral halo decorated in the colors of the flag – a beautiful way to show some American pride. The best part? It’s a quick, fun, and affordable DIY that you can use for many occasions.
Festive Floral Halo.

Here are some suggestions: English ivy, seeded eucalyptus, jasmine, salal (lemon) leaf, or any other flexible branch.
STEP ONE: Form the crown by shaping the branch into a circle and determine the correct size for your head. Using floral wire, secure the ends of the branches to the crown
STEP TWO: Pick a spot on the crown to make the focal point (a common place would be near the temple). Make a mini bouquet using one of each of the colors of flowers, securing the bunch together with floral tape.
STEP THREE: Secure the tiny arrangement to the crown with floral wire, making sure the ends of the wire are safely tucked in away from head.
STEP FOUR: Fill the crown with your desired number of flowers. Picking spots through out the crown, place a single flower or stem along the ring with floral wire (this is delicate work)
You can go through and edit, by adding more greenery or flowers or clipping away any unwanted leaves or blooms.
STEP FIVE: Lace ribbon through the crown and enjoy!
The flowers we used: Blue Delphinium, White Nerine Lilies, White Lisianthus, Red Mini Carnations, English Ivy
