{DIY} Colorful Coaster Set

With an upcoming birthday in the family, we decided to get crafty and create an adorable custom coaster set as part of the birthday girl’s gift! 

Materials

Cork Coasters          Sponge Brush          Mod Podge          Tissue Paper          Metallic Paint           Scissors

Instructions:

Tear/cut the tissue paper and set it aside. We used less than one sheet for a set of four coasters.

Coat the coaster with Mod Podge and arrange the tissue paper in a pattern you like.

Brush thin layers of Mod Podge over the tissue paper until the area is fully coated.

Once dry, add a border and finish of the edges with metallic paint to complete your coasters.

Voila – a custom colorful coaster set ready for gifting!
