Local Love {Crush Fine Wine}

Sparkles – sure… why not? Bubbly – I’ll take another glass.

Clink @ 12? – way past my bedtime, but I’m hopeful.

Ok – enough with the play by play. This year – it’s family style, which means super easy planning with a festive potluck, and a film for the kiddos in our home crafted theatre. Nothing fancy, but super fun. For the bigger kids, we’ll need something a bit more spirited – and fancy.

Yesterday, I popped into Crush Fine Wine with my girlfriend Sarah (she’s in charge of the bubbly). This very new and swank retailer has everything you need, and then some. Get ready to swoon.

Best way to bubbly? The best for me is always with good company and a rich piece of chocolate. Simple but always perfection.

Yay or Nay on the New Year Resolution? Yay! A New resolution is always a go for me. I love the idea of setting out to make a slight improvement for the year – i find it refreshing! My resolution this time around is to simply get out and run more. It makes me feel good, and it’s good for me!

Most looking forward to in 2013? Our family will be moving into our new home in January – I am so excited, and I cannot wait to make new memories and celebrate new traditions there.

Fave NYE tradition? Last year my husband and I created a vision board out of magazine clippings that outlined goals and aspirations for the year. We put it out as a daily reminder, and it was amazing to see just how much of it became a reality in 2012. I think it’s a great tradition, and this year Elise will be able to help with the picture selection and assembly.

First Night Style - My NYE style is in sync with my everyday style – subtle and easy with some on-trend accessories. I always find accessories to be the best way to play up any look, and occasion.

Crushing on Crush? Yes! Crush is such a great addition to downtown. The idea of having a beautiful upscale wine store within reach is such a treat! This spot is the perfect before or after to any date night. The space is so beautiful – Denell and I didn’t want to leave!

But we did – with bubbly in hand.
